Barry Honig is the CEO and President of TruckPay. 

TruckPay is a technology company that provides enterprise-class mobile and cloud based bulk material logistics systems.  

TruckPay offers a Fleet Management, Dispatch, and Material Data Management platform, as well as an industry-leading NTEP certified contactless truck scale management and point of sale (POS) system, called MyTruckScales. Mr. Honig is responsible for designing the different system architectures and workflows, for providing the business analysis for the company’s various products, for fundraising, and for running day-to-day operations. Mr. Honig is a graduate of Columbia University School of Engineering, with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics and graduate work in Computer Science. He is a member of the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society. He was the first blind graduate of the world-renowned Bronx High School of Science. Mr. Honig brings 41 years of work experience to the organization. He has worked as a Senior Technology Manager for firms like Morgan Stanley, where he ran the Foreign Exchange, Commodity, and Global Credit Risk Technology groups. Mr. Honig has also served as a Risk Management Consultant, Commodity Trader, and as an Adjunct Professor at New York University. He is a former owner of an earth-moving logistics business and has an insider’s view of the needs of this industry.

Mr. Honig holds seven patents, for his work in contactless truck scale management and in mobile and cloud-based fleet management logistics. 

Mr. Honig is very active in his local community, having directed the Tenafly Chabad’s “Free Loan Association”. He is also a past member of the New Jersey State Israel Commission, appointed by Governor Chris Christie and has served as an elected Councilman in Tenafly, New Jersey. 

Mr. Honig is very dedicated to helping the disabled and those with other special needs, as he currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Freedom Guide Dogs and as a board member of the Lighthouse Guild International (LGI) and Road Recovery. LGI is dedicated to eye care services, providing the latest technology and job training for the visually impaired. Road Recovery is focused on helping at risk teens and young adults through music and a variety of other programs. He also serves on JNF’s National Task Force for the Disabled and is National Co-Chair of JNF’s Special in Uniform project. Mr. Honig has also served on the National Board of Directors of “Recordings for the Blind & Dyslexic (RFBD)” and is a past board member of Alphapointe. Alphapointe is an organization dedicated to providing hundreds of manufacturing and technology jobs, as well as technology training and vision care, to visually impaired individuals.
