General Manager, Firth Industries – Cameron was appointed General Manager of Firth Industries in October 2017.
His experience within the Company totals 25 years, starting as a graduate following a brief career in the NZ Military. His roles in the business include sales and operational positions within Firth, as well as sales roles in the other Fletcher Group companies, including cement and aggregates.
Firth has a 95 year history and is New Zealand’s only national manufacturer of ready-mix concrete, concrete masonry and premix bagged concretes. It employs 700 people, has a fleet of 450 trucks and operates 65 batch plants, 7 masonry plants and two bagged plants. Its ready-mix volume is 1.5 million m3 and 1 million m2 of concrete masonry. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the University of Auckland.
