Vice President of Engineering and Operational Support, Luck Stone – Travis Chewning is Vice President of Engineering and Operational Support at Luck Stone and leads a team which includes technical support, technical training, procurement, engineering and construction. His journey with Luck Stone has spanned over 25 years and has included experiences in operations, engineering, business development, marketing, strategy and innovation.
Travis holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from Virginia Tech and an Master of Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. Travis is a Professional Engineer licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Travis currently serves on the Goochland County YMCA board and the Virginia Tech Mining Engineering Built for the Mine Advisory board. Previously he served on the board of the Goochland County Chamber of Commerce.
When not at work, Travis enjoys spending time with his family, supporting his children’s sports schedules, hiking, fishing, and traveling. He resides in Goochland, Virginia, with his wife Jodi, teenagers Ella and Lucas, and two English Cream Golden Retrievers, Lennin and Remi.
