CEO & Co-founder of CheckProof – Håkan Holmgren is the CEO and co-founder of CheckProof, a SaaS platform purpose-built for Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) and maintenance operations in the heavy industry. Growing up in a family-run aggregates business, Håkan gained experience of all aspects of the business, from mechanical to operator to top-tier management. Leading to a deep understanding of how safety incidents, unplanned breakdowns, and quality issues can occur in the absence of proper routines.
His career later took him to Heidelberg Materials, where he worked with continuous improvement across Northern Europe, focusing on improving productivity, availability and securing correct processes for safety and quality. He is a frequent speaker at international and industry-specific events, including AGGNEXUS and seminars hosted by the Swedish Association for Aggregates and Construction Materials (SBMI).
